Following on from The Two Of Us Shawl, here is the second pattern in the 'The Two Of Us' Series of 1 skein projects.
The Two Of Us Hat
Have you got a single skein of yarn that you are not too sure what to do with, or are you looking for something simple to keep your hands busy? Would you like to be able to cast on straight away without too much prep, or maybe you are wanting to make a gift for someone special?
With any of the designs in the Two of Us series you can cast on today, no swatching required and have a finished item ready in no time at all. Detailed instructions for each pattern ensure that even beginner knitters will be able to achieve these projects without any problems.
Two of Us designs also encourage you to treat a loved family member or special friend to something hand-made, as well as making the same item for yourself. Each design connects the two by using a small amount of yarn from the opposite colourway, giving it true uniqueness and meaning to the two wearers. You can of course use the same colour for both.
Whichever way you choose to go, the important thing is to relax and have fun playing with colour and yarn. Enjoy x
Materials to make two Hats
(This has edging in vice versa colours, if making one hat only use same colourway as main body for edging)
Samples shown here use Mamie and Florrie hand dyed DK weight 100% Blue Faced Leicester Yarn Each use 1 skein at 100g/225m
