As I've stated, most adults require seven to eight hours
of sleep a night; however, we did not start off that way.
As newborns, we slept approximately twelve to eighteen
hours a day and did not adhere to a schedule. However,
by six months of age, most infants are able to sleep
through the night for about nine to twelve hours and
usually take a nap in the morning and afternoon for thirty
minutes to two hours.
