You’ll know how to identify the story, build the world, understand your character’s need, establish meaningful stakes, find the shifts and turn your analysis into active, playable behaviour.
You’ll also know how to set up and film the tape professionally: framing, lighting, sound, reader, eyeline, clothing, props, editing and submission.
The aim isn’t to give you a formula for “booking the job”.
It’s to give you a process you can trust.
Led by a working professional actor and acting lecturer
I’m Majid Mehdizadeh-Valoujerdy, professional actor, Senior Lecturer in Acting for Stage and Screen at the University of East London and co-founder of Craft Masters Acting Group.
I trained at Manchester School of Theatre and have worked professionally across stage and screen, including Doctor Who, Hollyoaks, War Horse and Testament.
I am a fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
The process in this course comes from years of preparing my own professional auditions, teaching actors and working practically with performers through Craft Masters Acting.
