Uncomfortable Youth: Why Gen Z Triggers the World and What It Reveals About Us
I wrote this book because I kept hearing the same sentence in different forms: “What is wrong with this generation?”
The more I listened, the more I realized the question was incomplete.
Gen Z did not appear out of nowhere. They were shaped by forces many leaders never had to navigate at the same age: permanent digital exposure, economic volatility, climate anxiety, public scrutiny, and rapid technological change. Of course they think differently. Of course they behave differently.
This book is not a defense of them. It is not an attack on older generations either. It is an attempt to examine the friction honestly.
If you are a leader who feels frustrated, unsettled, or even quietly threatened by how fast the ground seems to be shifting, this book is for you. I explore what Gen Z gets right, where they struggle, and what their presence reveals about our own leadership habits.
My hope is simple: that we move from irritation to understanding, from stereotypes to systems thinking, and from resentment to adaptation. Because whether we like it or not, they are not a passing phase. They are the future we are already working with.
