Overlay Mosaic Crochet Pattern Blanket Throw

There is a short TUTORIAL included in the pattern on how to work overlay mosaic crochet, however you are encouraged to have basic knowledge about this technique before buying.

Pattern uses universal terminology, all abbreviations are clearly explained in “Terminology and Abbreviations” section.

In US terms this pattern uses dc, sc, and ch to create the motif.

Universal stitches are all explained in the pattern.

Suggested Materials and Tools

Yarn for the motif (calculated using DK yarn excl. border):

Approx. 2225 m / 2435 yd in Colour A, and approx. 2173 m / 2378 yd in Colour B

Crochet hook: 3 mm

Tapestry needle, pair of scissors, stitch markers (optional)

Suggested Gauge

ca. 10×10 cm (ca. 4×4 inches) = 18 stitches x 17 rows in overlay mosaic alternating rows of Short and Tall

stitches (see ‘Terminology and Abbreviations’ further below)

Finished blanket (190 sts × 298 rows) measures approx. 106 × 175 cm (ca. 42 × 69 in)
