Skills required

For all patterns:

• Knitting, purling
• Working in the round with DPNs (two circulars or the magic loop technique are also good alternatives)

Double knitting techniques are explained in the pattern.

Some patterns also require:

• Chart reading
• Grafting (aka Kitchener Stitch)
• Cables (explained in pattern)

Yarn recommendations:

Bibs should be made from a yarn which is washable, absorbent, and durable. Yarn with a high cotton content is recommended. All the sample bibs in this book were made from 100% cotton yarn.
