'' Kaden’s Last Glance ''

In the crimson mist of a forgotten village, Kaden found Kayda wounded at the foot of an ancient torii. Her ruby eyes burned with fear and desire.

He saved her, protected her. She repaid him with stolen glances and kisses beneath the blood-red moon. But every night, the wind carried whispers: Do not trust her, Kaden…

When he asked her to run away together, Kayda smiled. A smile too sharp.

"My true nature calls me..." she whispered, and her skin tore apart, revealing black horns and deadly claws.

An ONI. A deception.

Kaden’s last glance was one of love and terror — until a searing pain ignited in his veins. His breath hitched , Black veins crawled beneath his skin, his fingers twisted into claws, his own scream turning into a guttural growl.

Kayda watched, her smile widening.

"You were never meant to escape fate, Kaden. You were meant to become it."

The crimson mist thickened, swallowing them both. Two figures, now alike, disappeared into the darkness.
