CUSTOM Roman Swords, Shields, Flags and Asset Pack - 90 Assets

Roman swords (like the short, stabbing Gladius) and shields (Scutum) were a deadly combo: the short sword excelled at thrusting in close formation, while the large, curved rectangular shield protected the soldier from shoulder to knee, enabling disciplined tactics like the Testudo (tortoise formation). The Gladius was a double-edged blade for cutting and thrusting, used with the Pilum (throwing spear) before close combat, and the Scutum was wood, covered in canvas/leather, with an iron boss for deflection.
