GROUND ZERO : 00/00/00 (Post 9/11 Edition) - by Ludo CHRONOS

This is the Post 9/11 Edition of Ludo Chronos's renowned volume of poetry 'Ground Zero', originally published over eight months before the tragic events of the 11th Septembeer 2001. In this volume Ludo Chronos has added a special cycle of verse inspired by the events of 9/11. The additional cycle of poems is entitled 'The Space Between'. All of the volume has been revised and re-edited into a completely new format than the original 'Blue Edition' (which was printed in blue ink on blue paper with only one phrase of a poem in red ink). The present volume is specially designed to offer readers an optimum reading experience.

" - I step into the starless depths, garland of night draped over my chest. I grow into the infinite spaces, time, are you ready to meet me now ? You will know me when you find me, you will expect me when I have arrived."  Ludo Chronos

Bnus Features of this Edition: This volume includes inspirational quotations and images throughout. It includes five verse cycles, each self-contained and complete in itself, though the whole is meant to read as a sequence for maximum reading pleasure. The entire volume has been designed to appear like a 'real book' and is free of all typographic errors or faults. It is a unique reading experience and the first in a series of 'virtual books' to be released by Living Time Digital.

Extract 1:
in the night

I wake in the night
and I know
the world
that I dream
is as real as that which I see

I walk in the light that I see
and I know
I will not
fall down or falter

here all we accomplish
is really gained
and all
that we lose
- is really lost

until we regain it again

Extract 2:
human am I

feelings are buried
within this body
- yet I do not
feel at all

my feet have fallen
by the roadside
I have outrun
- my soul -

storm in a crystal,
- I am blown aside

I cannot tell you
where I am
nor say
where I
have been
thoughts unthought
and words unresounding

pages unwritten
the canvas blank

my face is buried
in the gutter

human am I

A Quote from this Volume:
IN ENDLESS SPACE countless luminous spheres, round each of which some dozen smaller illuminated ones revolve, hot at the core and covered over with a cold, hard crust - on this crust a mouldy film has produced living and knowing beings. This is the truth experienced by us, Reality, the World. Yet for a being who thinks, it is a precarious position to stand on one of those numberless spheres freely floating in boundless space, without knowing where we come from or where we are going, and to be only one among innumerable similar creatures that throng, press and toil, restlessly and rapidly arising and passing away in beginningless and never-ending time. - ” (Arthur Schopenhauer)
