The Mala is a traditional 108 beads rosary, used for counting during mantra recitation, chanting, or meditation, a practice known as japa in Sanskrit. This sacred tool serves as a guide for spiritual discipline, aiding in focus and mindfulness during meditation.

According to Hindu tradition, the mala is held in the right hand, with the thumb used to gently move from one bead to the next while the mala drapes over the middle finger. The index finger, symbolising the ego, is consciously avoided, reflecting the intention to transcend ego and attain Self-Realisation.

Please Note: As the beads are formed by nature, each mala may vary slightly in bead size and length. The beads typically measure between 0.6cm and 0.8cm, with the overall length ranging from 60cm to 80cm.
