Otto Nicolai – Duos Nos. 4–6 in Treble Clef

These are brilliant proper duets rather than just exercises — musical, enjoyable to play, and ideal for working on ensemble, tuning, phrasing and matching articulation with another player. I wanted these in the shop because they give two brass players something genuinely worthwhile to get stuck into together.

Originally for two French Horns but written in treble clef, they work particularly well for two of the same brass instrument — two cornets/trumpets, two horns, two baritones, two euphoniums, or even two treble-clef basses. A great choice for lessons, practice partners or simply playing for fun.
