Hortus Conclusus

In all his multifarious self-manifestations within the structure of life in the eternal spirit, ‘God’ is himself in every self-willed individual form eternal absolute self-experience.
So too is the true final goal of all temporal willing and acting, the will to exist and yearning for form of earthly man: – the self-confirmation of his divinely determined eternal powers of the soul in his own self-experience. For only in such self-experience can the soul re-enter God and become ‘aware’ of God. Only by self confirmation through self-experience within the self-experience of God is a loving union with God within God possible. Prior to this the soul is only in a state of ‘preparedness’ for love, and its supposed ‘love’ for God is a ‘yearning’ for love by offering its power of love to something ‘above-it’, in which it supposedly ‘believes’ – but has absolutely no knowledge of. And it is only in the individual soul, uniting them all in an eternal condition of unity, that the eternal powers of the soul can regain experience of themselves in the eternal, from which they are irradiated in order to be drawn back in a self-formed state into their source, – crystallised at a core of eternal consciousness which illuminates them all and gives to each one the individual eternal colour belonging to it.
