This new PDF edition of this enigmatic volume of verse - first written on the transition from 1999 to the year 2000 - is available here in its original blue text version, known as the 'Blue Edition'. One of only two volumes written by mystery-poet Ludo Chronos. This edition of 'Ground Zero' was released over eight months before the events of 9/11. It is a highly original book of poetry about the themes of change, endings and beginnings. It is called the 'Blue Edition' because of its deep blue cover and because it was originally published, throughout the year 2000, in blue ink on blue paper, except for one phrase printed in red ink. The text here faithfully duplicates this original edition though unnecessary blank pages have been omitted. In 2006 there was released an updated, and far different edition of this same book, the 'Post 9/11 Edition' in which an additional cycle of poems ('The Space Between') about America and the tragedy of September 11th 2001 was included. This is available separately as a PDF eBook also.
" - I step into the starless depths, garland of night draped over my chest. I grow into the infinite spaces, time, are you ready to meet me now ? You will know me when you find me, you will expect me when I have arrived." Ludo Chronos

Extract 1:
in the night
I wake in the night
and I know
that
the world
that I dream
is as real as that which I see
I walk in the light that I see
and I know
that
I will not
fall down or falter
here all we accomplish
is really gained
and all
that we lose
- is really lost
until we regain it again
DO NOT DOUBT
THAT
THE DREAM IS REAL
BUT
LIVE IN YOUR DREAMS
AS YOU
LIVE IN THE LIGHT OF DAY
Extract 2:
'Human am I':
feelings are buried
within this body
- yet I do not
feel at all
my feet have fallen
by the roadside
I have outrun
- my soul -
storm in a crystal,
lightning
inside,
angel
dust
- I am blown aside
I cannot tell you
where I am
nor say
where I
have been
thoughts unthought
and words unresounding
pages unwritten
the canvas blank
my face is buried
in the gutter
drunken
drug-dazed
human am I
