Pattern Clarity Call

1-on-1 Help for Quilt Pattern Writers

You don’t need another course.

You need someone who has already looked at your pattern.

A 30-minute one-on-one for quilt pattern writers, with your pattern reviewed before we ever get on Zoom.

Most pattern problems aren't big. They're small, specific, and weirdly time consuming.

A diagram that won't cooperate. A step you've rewritten six times. A price you keep waffling on. Funky fabric patterning in your mockups.

You could watch a tutorial, but that teaches the general case, and you're stuck on the specific one. You could post in a group and collect nine conflicting opinions. Or you could put your actual pattern in front of someone who does this for a living.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Check out and book your time.

Choose a slot at least 72 hours out.

2. Send me your pattern.

Include a short note on what you're stuck on. It doesn't need to be polished.

3. I review it before we talk.

By the time we're on Zoom, I already have answers. The 30 minutes goes to your pattern, not to catching me up.

4. We work through it, live.

I share my screen so you can watch the fix happen and ask questions as we go.

5. You get the recording and my notes.

So you can redo it yourself next time.

WHO THIS IS FOR

You're writing a quilt pattern, or you've written one, and you're stuck on something specific. You'd rather get a clear answer than a generic overview. You want to learn how to do it yourself.

WHO THIS ISN'T FOR

If you're hoping I'll design your quilt, build your brand, or lay out your whole pattern for you, this isn't that. It's a working session, and you'll leave knowing what to do next and how to do it.

Who's on the other end

I've used Adobe for 20+ years, tech edited 100+ patterns, and ghostwritten almost as many. I've also been the tech support for a pattern writing course. My clients range from independent designers to fabric designers, manufacturers, and BOM kit companies.

I know where patterns go sideways.
