Lego Technic 42140 Tracked Pickup MOC

Rebuild your "Transformation Vehicle" set 42140 into a "Tracked Pickup" alternative model using my digital building instructions! No extra parts needed, just the 42140 set!

Tracked pickup trucks are found mostly in snowy environments:

Functions:

- Remote-controlled drive and steering.

- Pendular suspension bogies in the front tracks

Worth mentioning aspects:

- Both rear tracks are driven using a solid axle, with a gear ratio of 1.67:1

- It's capable of light off-roading with decent ground clearance

- The dump bed is fixed but can be used to transport cargo

- It has a basic modeled interior

- It has a tow ball at the rear which can be used to pull trailers

- The button to turn on the hub is easily accessible through the cabin

- Batteries can be easily swapped from below the vehicle

- Needs a custom profile from the Powered Up app to be controlled. Detailed steps are provided within the MOC building instructions for this as well.

- Easy to mod with regular wheels and tires if you so wish
