Small Seahorse

This pattern creates a 14 inch quilt block. It includes two separate versions of the seahorse block.

The first version shows the seahorse set in a fractured background. It is perfect for using up all your blue fabric scraps.

The second version shows the seahorse set on a plain background.

In addition, three alternate versions of the dorsal fin have been included in the pattern. This will allow you to make a block which suits your taste and skill level.

The pattern includes:
1. Written instructions telling you the order to sew the paper pieces together.
2. Pictorial overviews of the pattern to help you orientate the pieces
3. A colouring sheet to aid in fabric decision making.
3. Separate pattern pieces which include a 1/4 inch seam allowance.

Basic paper piecing instructions are not included, but I have included a few tips and a link to the paper piecing tutorials on my blog.
