I use both photographs and illustrations to thoroughly explain professional finishing tips in this quick and easy project (that can be made extra quickly if refashioned from an adult-sized skirt or dress). The pattern also contains instructions for optional pockets and ruffles
This pattern includes sizes 12m-6, and is perfect for a sweet present for a special little girl, or can be easily modified and adapted for costumes (like the pink velvet fairy costume, above, made in 20 minutes). Fabric choices can completely change the look of this dress from playful to preppy, from costume to classic. The dress can be layered for warmth in the winter, or made from a gauze or lawn for cool summer fun.
