Willie Lynch was a slave master with his own plantation in the West Indies, who traveled to Virginia in the United States to aid the slave masters there in controlling their slaves.

Willie Lynch told the slave owners that he himself employed the techniques with his own slaves that he shared with them. Willie used psychological techniques such as skin complexion, age, hair texture and much more to pit the slaves one against another. The techniques used has deeply wounded and has left psychological scars on indigenous so-called "black" and "brown" communities worldwide.
