Fed Yourself First
To every caregiver, healer, helper, midlife woman, chronic-illness warrior, and person who has ever placed themselves last—this table has a seat for you.
May every recipe remind you that nourishment does not have to be perfect, expensive, complicated, or Instagram-ready. It can be warm. It can be simple. It can come from what you already have.
You deserve nourishment, rest, joy, flavor, and a seat at your own table.
Feed yourself first.
Soul-Fed was never meant to be a diet. It is a way of coming home to yourself.
This cookbook grew out of real life: full schedules, chronic pain, inflammation, changing appetites, grocery bills that make you stare at the receipt twice, Sunday dinners that still taste like memory, and the desire to feel better without making food another source of shame.
You will find whole-food recipes, comfort food, seafood, plant-forward meals, low-energy options, budget wisdom, gentle movement, reflections, and a few stories that had to be told—because sometimes healing happens with a wooden spoon in your hand, and sometimes it happens on a stretch pad wondering which presidential administration last used those muscles.
GLP-1 support is part of the conversation, but it is not the whole conversation. This book is for women learning to nourish themselves again—through midlife, inflammation, autoimmune challenges, stress, appetite changes, and ordinary life.
SOUL-FED TRUTH — You are not required to earn your meal. You are allowed to nourish the body that has carried you this far.
