The Silver Dragon Cowl was inspired by the texture and image of overlapping dragon scales. It’s designed to be adjustable – you can let it hang, or wrap it around your neck twice for a snugger fit!

Pattern Notes:

The cowl is knit in the round from bottom to top. The edges will have a natural slight curl to them, even after blocking, because of the nature of the lace.

When looking for a substitute yarn, any fingering or sport weight yarn would substitute well, I’d suggest a wool or wool-blend yarn.

Note that gauge and yarn weight are both flexible for this pattern, though it will change the appearance and/or size of the finished object, as well, as the amount of yarn required.

This pattern has written instructions, and the stitch pattern is both written and charted. This pattern also has an accessible large print option that is compatible with screen-reading software. This option includes only the written instruction.
