Learn the creative decisions behind the architectural visualizations I make for Silvercoloredlens. Follow one exterior project through five stages in D5 Render, Photoshop, and Lightroom, from the first camera choice to the final presentation.

See what changes when the decisions have a direction.

The same project, from the same camera. The developed final brings the light, contrast, color, and atmosphere toward a clearer visual intention.

The course walks through the choices behind that development.

Learn the workflow. Understand the decisions. Create with intention.

You've probably watched plenty of rendering tutorials. You know how to change materials, adjust settings, and experiment with lighting.

But knowing the tools doesn't always tell you which camera angle to choose, where the light should come from,

or what the viewer should notice first.

That's what this course is about. I take you behind an exterior visualization I created for Silvercoloredlens and explain how I move

from a working scene to a finished architectural image.

One project. Five stages. A repeatable workflow.

01 Set the Scene

establish what the image needs to communicate and choose a strong starting view.

02 Compose

use camera, framing, focal point, and depth to guide the viewer through the architecture.

03 Light

shape time of day, shadows, and atmosphere to reveal form and create mood.

04 Grade

refine contrast and color in post so the final image holds together.

05 Deliver

Prepare and present the final still image with its purpose in mind.

Watch a lesson before you decide.

See how I break down the workflow, explain the decisions, and guide you through each step in this sample lesson from Module 1.

Learn to make choices that work across the project.

The course project is more than one polished camera. Each view asks for a decision about what to show and how to show it.

I'm Dunhill, the creator behind SilverColoredLens. I've spent more than two decades in architectural visualization.

The process in this course comes from the same questions I ask in my own work: what the architecture needs to communicate, how the image should feel, and which decisions will bring it there. I won't ask you to memorize my settings. I'll show you how I think through the image so you can make stronger decisions in your own work.

Do I need to know D5 already?

• Basic 3D experience will help. The course demonstrates the workflow in D5 Render, with post-production in Photoshop and Lightroom.

Can I apply this in another renderer?

• Yes. Composition, lighting, atmosphere, color, and presentation are transferable. You will need to adapt software-specific steps.

When do I get access?

• All five stages of the course are available immediately after purchase, so you can start learning right away. The completed D5 Render and Photoshop project files unlock 20 days later, giving you time to practice, make your own decisions, and apply what you've learned before exploring my finished work. Learn at your own pace. There's no deadline to complete the course.

Can I use the course files in client work?

• The D5 scene, SketchUp models, Photoshop files, worksheets, and other course downloads are licensed to one enrolled learner for learning and creating their own work.
• You may use the finished renders you create in your portfolio and client projects. You may not sell, share, give away, re-upload, or redistribute the course files themselves, including modified versions or files included in an asset pack, template, or another course.
• Purchasing the course does not transfer ownership of the source files. Any third-party assets remain subject to their own license terms.

Is personal critique included?

• No. Personal critique was offered only to the founding cohort. It is not included in the $197 public-launch course.

What is the refund policy?

• If you feel the course isn't right for you, you can request a full refund within 14 days of purchase. You'll have access to all five video stages during that period, so you can explore the lessons and decide whether the course meets your expectations. The completed D5 Render and Photoshop project files unlock 20 days after purchase. If your order is refunded, your course access will end. This guarantee does not affect your rights under applicable law.
