Our fur color-swatching service aims to provide you with a hand selected assortment of furs that most accurately match the colors of your character. Therefore, we will provide you with our primary recommendation of furs that most closely align with your provided reference sheet, as well as some alternatives and substitutions to account for potential fur unavailability.

If you only want certain colors of your character to be color-matched, please select the appropriate number of colors when ordering and make specific note of these colors in the checkout form.

*Collie Clippings uses a public Trello board for customer transparency and queue progress updates. If you do not want your character's name and reference sheet to be displayed on our Trello, please make special note of this request in your checkout form.

You Will Receive:

Photos (3) of your swatch board in various environments (sunlight, shade, indoors).
A written summary of your swatch board that includes supplier information and details on our selections.
All of the above-mentioned content in a Google Drive file.

*You WILL NOT RECEIVE any physical product. This is a digital consulting service, nothing will be shipped.

*You WILL NOT RECEIVE a stylized image of your character superimposed over the swatch board; These were created for display purposes only.

Pricing

Our swatching service starts at $30 USD for 1 - 3 colors. Each additional color is +$10 USD. For orders of 14 colors or more, please contact us via email before placing your order.

Additionally

You MUST provide a valid email address because this is how your product will be electronically delivered to you. A Telegram @ can also be provided, but will only be used to ask quick questions.
If you are certain of a specific color you would like us to include on your swatch board, please make note of it on the checkout form.
Ensure that your character's reference sheet is unshaded and that it is accessible via a live link.

Wow.. Just WOW

I can't believe it took the Fandom this long to jump on offering a service like this, but BOY am I glad Tay and Lark were the ones to do it! I simply cannot recommend this service enough!
COMMUNICATION:
I had very specific requests and tastes in furs I reached out to Tay to discuss, and their responses were prompt, friendly and helpful! Upon completion, I was accidentally given the wrong file for my fur analysis, but Tay was quick to correct it when I reached out. Turn around time was a breeze, and their Trello board stayed up to date always!

FURS
Blown away, impressed, astonished... are all honestly understatements when it comes to describing the DETAIL that was put into my fur analysis spreadsheet. There were a LOT of amazing fur options Tay and Lark had gathered for me, and each and every swatch got its own comprehensive breakdown on quality, shaveability, ease of maintenance, and more! I had very specific and frankly, picky requests and standards I presented when I ordered and needless to say they did NOT disappoint!

In conclusion, I truly cannot recommend this service enough! The price they charge for this service is BEYOND fair for just how detailed and informational it is! I know I for one will be recommending Tay and Lark to absolutely every person who may be having fur issues!!

Great resource

As a maker myself, I tend to obsess over the specific colors to go with. Collie Clippings is a great resource to compare all the options for your character! Especially those of us who don't want to order and wait on a ton of different swatches from multiple places. Very thorough writeup, and seeing all the swatches in different lighting is a great help! :)
