About this workbook

The sympathetic nervous system prepares the body for a "fight or flight" response, increasing heart rate, blood pressure, and releasing stress hormones like cortisol.
Self-hypnosis encourages relaxation, shifting the body's balance towards the parasympathetic nervous system, which promotes a state of rest and digestion. This shift reduces the physical symptoms of stress, helps regulate emotional responses, and leads to a calmer, more balanced state of mind.
