Duotone 72 (VST3, CLAP, AUv2)

Duotone 72 is a programmable polyphonic software synthesizer built around a 1972-style slider panel and dual-oscillator signal path.

Two oscillators provide saw and pulse waves, pulse-width modulation, and selectable frequency-modulation sources. Oscillator 2 adds fine tuning and hard sync, while the third mixer source can supply white noise, pink noise, or ring modulation.

The filter path combines a high-pass stage with a resonant low-pass filter selectable between 12 and 24 dB/octave slopes. Sample and Hold can sample noise or an Oscillator 2-rate saw, pass through a lag control, and modulate the oscillators or filter alongside the sine/square LFO and ADSR or AR contours.

Poly, Duo, and Mono voice modes share an eight-voice engine with portamento. The interactive panel provides 46 host-automatable parameters, three proportional pitch-control pads, a 37-key keyboard, live Sample and Hold LEDs, an output meter, randomization, and a scrollable browser containing 64 factory presets.
