This little block finishes at just 1.5" square. The construction is a bit fiddly, with the small size adding a certain amount of challenge to the sewing. It sure is cute though, and since it uses the smallest of scraps, what have you got to lose by giving it a go?
Mini quilt blocks can be used in so many ways:
- Make a whole mini quilt out of multiple blocks or by adding different blocks or borders (see example in photos)
- Create little ornaments or bunting
- Incorporate into a large quilt block or border for a little extra interest
- Add to a notebook cover, bag, pouch etc.
The pattern consists of a single page with step-by-step instructions and illustrations. The page is printable on either letter or A4 paper. Please note that the pattern is for the block only, not a finished quilt.
This pattern is available for free, but if you would like to contribute a little something to acknowledge the work that went into it, you can choose your own amount to pay. I would ask, if you do choose to pay, that you keep the amount to at least 50 cents, otherwise PayPal get all the money with their fees!
