Astrophysics Lecture 4: Designing a Space Mission (Spanish)
This presentation describes a preliminary discussion to put a spacecraft in orbit around Ceres, the largest body in the Asteroid Belt, from inception to operation. It shows how difficult a mission is, thousands of engineers are involved, and how easy it can be spoiled. Technology is easily forgotten when it works, taken for granted, until it does stop working.
The informal language of the presentation makes it very accessible to everyone; as a bonus, there is also a pdf version with slides in white background for printing.
