We are all happy to say "Don't judge a book by its cover" but really... What makes your favorite flower your favorite flower? The fact you find it the loveliest... It appeals! That is the goal here, to help you find you appealing. The look of the cover should be determined by the contents, not the other way around. With amazing contents, your cover can be incredible.
I’ve learned some lessons in life that maybe others can use, I’ve struggled with self-esteem and confidence, and I’ve realized they’re multifaceted. Despite that, I hate complicated and overwhelming, so my goal in writing this book is to help people in an easy and non-complicated way. I’d like the lessons I’ve paid for in blood sweat and tears to be utilized to their full potential, not just by me.
I’m likely going to say a few things in this book that could be considered corny… I’m like that; I’m “unicorns and rainbows,” but I’m “shits & damnits” too. I hope you are able to balance my corniness with my seriousness, to hear my genuineness.
I have a fascination with perspective. I’ve learned everything in life relates to HOW we see things, which determines how we feel. We have the intellect and ability to change perspective, and thereby change how we feel. I also want to be comfortable. I want to see everything in life in a way that doesn't hurt, doesn't bring down, and doesn't diminish me in any way. And I refuse to lie to myself to make that happen.
I’m going to stop, look, and listen… then analyze, choose, and move forward. Life is hard, sometimes unbearable, but if the goal is to be happy, why not help the goal with the search for great perspective?
