As one of the scene's underground heroes, LilMilly has earned his plaudits through old school nastiness and production chops. Early collaborations with scene legend DJ Pantha, SG and Breeza earmarked the emerging talent for success and, after some time refining his craft, the West Midlands DON returned with 'Bumbafunk'-an EP whose eponymous track became an instant scene classic. Milly's return to form with his bootleg 'Tonight' should come as no surprise, then. Densely packed basslines dance over weighty drums and rolling arps, with the action neatly broken up by the melancholia of the original sample. With the possibility of dance music spaces reopening well within reach, there's no better time for one of the Midlands' finest to return to form.
