The Gathering is under attack, and a Malak asks Wings to protect them. Wings goes from city to city carrying out his purpose, and in each one, he faces a host of evil forces like the perverse Pravus, the brutal Svengalis, and the untruthful Ersatz Teachers.
Having a dark and violent past, Wings is comfortable with enacting vengeance, but he directs his abilities to a different purpose since his Turning. He also must learn to live in a duel reality, where the defiant princes, the DefSars, conflict with the Malaks. Wings has special abilities, which don’t work all the time, so he must continuously out-think and out-act his foes.
These action/adventure, contemporary Christian fantasy, stories contain contemporary subjects, such as good versus evil, justice, worldviews, and spirituality, while drawing from Biblical themes.
