            Jean Watson developed the Philosophy and Science of Caring Theory. This theory addresses how nurses express care to their patients. At the core of this theory is the holistic approach to health care. Caring can promotes better health and simple medical care. Caring can be practiced and demonstrated by all nurses. This act of caring can promotes growth,  and accepts individuals for who they are and can become (“Nurse-Theory”, n.d.). This theory has four major concepts, human being, health, environment/society, and nursing.
