Once upon a time, there was a soft, fluffy cloud named White. He loved to travel through the sky, but he always looked down, looking for his friend, the Grey Rock, who lived peacefully on top of a mountain.

White and Grey were very different, but they understood each other very well. When White passed through the sky, he would tell him stories of the distant places he had seen, and Grey would talk to him about the calm of the mountain, the birds that came to rest on it and the sun that warmed it.

One day, after a long time without seeing each other, White decided to visit his friend. But there was a problem: he always moved with the wind and he didn’t know if he could stay still to spend some time with Grey.

With great excitement, he began his journey. He crossed valleys, rivers and forests until he reached the mountain. When he saw the Grey Rock, he was so happy that he didn’t notice that it was getting bigger and darker. Grey greeted him:

— White! What a joy to see you! But… why are you so dark?

White looked at himself and realized that he was full of water. His excitement had made him turn into a storm cloud.

— Oh, no! I didn’t want to bring rain! — he said worriedly.

But Grey smiled:

— Don’t worry, my friend. The flowers and trees have been thirsty for days. Your rain will be a gift!

Then, White gently let the rain fall on the mountain, making the plants shine and the streams become cheerful. When it was over, White felt light and regained his light color.

— Thank you for your visit, White. Now the mountain is more beautiful thanks to you! — said Grey.

— And I’m happy to have been able to help! I’ll be back soon!

And so, white resumed his path through the sky, knowing that he would always have a friend waiting for him on the mountain.
