Finger Puppets - Presidents

More learning material using presidential finger.

What a great way to learn through interaction about all our 45 presidents!! These president finger puppets not only allow kids to learn the president’s appearance, their names, their number but also help supports the kid’s oral language skills and communication.

I did this activity with my students, I selected 10 presidents at a time and we talked about the background story of each president, discussed their accomplishments, the problems they had during their terms, why do we have presidents, etc (the possibility of these finger puppets are endless!!). With the little kids, I did some roll playing and had the kids select the president they wanted to be and let their imagination shine.

This project is also great for group activities where they can learn about all the president in a discussion group which in turn promotes communication skills.

These puppets are easy to cut since we provided the kids with a clear cutting outline to help with hand eye coordination.
