Casual and easy to knit, Meridian is simple to memorize but packs a funky punch when out and about. Meridian has a simple easy to memorize cable that turns this great shawl into easy public or TV knitting. Fringe is added at the very end of the shawl and does not need to be added if not desired.

For reference photos were taken on a US size 4 model with an A cup bust.

YARN
Main yarn: Malabrigo Mechita ~840 yards/769 meters or 200 grams

NEEDLES
US 5 / 3.75mm circular knitting needles (40 inch/100cm or longer)

NOTIONS
cable needle
tapestry needle
markers

GAUGE
19 stitches by 20 garter bumps = 4 inches in Garter stitch (after wet blocking)

Adjust needle sizes to obtain correct gauge if necessary!

A different gauge will result in a different size shawl and the possibility of playing yarn chicken.

Adustable (Wingspan –72 inches/183cm, deepest point –31 inches/79cm)
