For Ben and Jerry’s retired Lemon Swirl ice cream flavour and the song Lemon Tree by Fool’s Garden which, in part, says:
“I wonder how, I wonder why,
Yesterday you told me ‘bout the blue, blue sky,

Is just a yellow lemon-tree.”
This new, updated version has kept our popular original pattern but has added a bonus pattern option which adds some cabled detail to the original. This update also now includes both charts and written directions for the charted stitches. Oh, and you’ll notice a tiny addition to the name to reflect the dual pattern options!*

Believe it or not, the spiral lace stitch pattern in Version A (yellow) in this cute rolled-brim hat is created using only a 2-row repeat! How easy is that? The cabled version B (green) uses only a 4-row repeat.
The pattern comes in sizes Newborn to Adult so lots of opportunities to knit matching hats for the family.
Beginning with the self-rolling brim, this hat is knit in the round.
