This is the complete variant of the tape simulator. All the controls and features are present in this variant. This also includes the lite and low-quality variations for free with this purchase.

Once you purchase this, that means you own it forever! And that means free updates too! If you somehow lose the preset file, use up all your downloads, or can't seem to get the plug-in working for any reason, then contact me via Instagram, Discord, or email! Please include your name, license key, and email if you plan on contacting me about the preset.

And finally, make sure you download the necessary plug-ins to get the preset functioning properly. There's a tutorial on my YouTube channel on how to install the plug-ins, or just read the text file I included in the zip.

If you like tape machines but want something quick, easy, and very subtle, then here is the lite edition of my tape simulator! It has the look, feel, and character of the base variant, but the difference is the number of controls it has. If you feel like the base variant is overwhelming with all the different controls, or if you just simply want to try out this variant because it's free, then try it out for free!

And you'll still need to install all the necessary plug-ins for this variant, just like the base variant. There's a tutorial on my YouTube channel on how to install the plug-ins or read the text file I included in the zip.

This is something that I wanted to work on for the LONGEST, and it's finally finished, lol. I want to say thank you all for supporting me over the years. It is insane how far we have come as a community. This is my way of saying thank you. This is a Patcher preset that simulates an old analog tape machine. I've included all my favorite free tape plug-ins and put them all into one. It's sort of like a master chain, to be honest, but I wanted to make it like a plug-in that only uses my favorite settings from those certain tape plug-ins I included, if that makes any sense.

If you guys mess with this, I'll be considering working on REAL VSTs, and I'll even put out freebies too, like I do with my free kits. Real VSTs that literally everyone can use! So, I'll see how this goes first before I plan on releasing a VST. And I really hope you all like this. It was pretty fun to put this together. I'll probably update this too and even make a second part of it. Let me know what you all think! And leave some reviews or share your work with the Patcher preset in my Discord server! Enjoy :)

Note: This was created using FL 21, which means versions lower than 21 probably won't work. This also uses free third-party plug-ins in order for the Patcher preset to function properly. Perfect for Lo-fi / Boom-bap

If you love the old-timey and vintage feel of tape machines, then I know you will love this Patcher preset I put together. It has all of my favorite controls from all of my favorite tape simulation plug-ins that I like to use. I love using this on my master chain. It gives my tracks a warm, clean, but, of course, a vintage touch to my mixes.

You can adjust all of the controls to your liking. And if you're already familiar with Patcher and how it works, then feel free to mess around with the plug-ins used in the preset. Or maybe even add your own plug-ins to the preset?

Lite edition!?

The lite and free variant of my tape simulator! This is intended for an easier and more subtle character for your mixes and masters. If you feel like the base variant is too much, then this is perfect for you. I find myself using this variant sometimes if I just want to add a subtle vintage feel to my master. And did I mention this is free? I did, but I just wanted to remind you again!

Even in it's condensed variation, it'll still have that nice warm and vintage feel to your tracks, but in subtlety! :)

Low quality button!

This is sort of a semi-variant from the base one. This is the low-quality variation. It has a button to turn on the low-quality and a knob to adjust the amount of low-quality. This variant is included with the purchase of the base variant. This was made separate because of the plug-in that is used inside of Patcher. There was a VERY noticeable latency, and that kind of sucked, so it was made a separate variant. The low-quality feature works really well with the other effects.

So if you like your mixes sounding like an old MP3 player or just sounding really, really low-quality, like when you're listening to old beats on YouTube or something, then you'll definitely mess with this!

No. I made this using a plug-in called "Patcher" in FL Studio. It's a tool / plug-in that let's you create your very own effects or synth's by using different kinds of VSTs. This runs natively in FL Studio. Which means that this only functions in FL Studio.
This preset was developed in FL 21. It will only work with FL Studio 21 and FL Studio 2024. Any version lower than those two will not function properly.
Yes! 90% of the preset is made up of third-party plug-ins. But worry not, because all of those plug-ins are free of charge! Since I don't own those plug-ins, I can't include them in the zip file. Which means you will have to manually install the plug-ins yourself. But worry not, again, because I made a tutorial on how to get the preset up and running properly!
This preset is only compatible with Windows and Mac.
