KOENICH IR 002 | Celestion G12T-75

Experience the distinctive character of the Celestion G12T-75, a classic British guitar speaker known for its scooped midrange, aggressive top end, and unmistakable old-school metal sound.

Two 16Ω G12T-75 speakers from 2015, originally installed in a Marshall 1960 cabinet, were captured in a modified, internally dampened Palmer 2×12 guitar cabinet.

Despite being the same model, both speakers have noticeably different tonal characteristics. The brighter speaker was captured with a Shure SM57, while the darker speaker was paired with an sE Electronics V7x.

Each speaker is available individually, alongside a blend of both microphones and speakers.

Designed for guitarists and producers looking for authentic, aggressive guitar tones with the flexibility to choose between two distinct speaker characters or their combined sound.
