A Letter to My Child: 10 Things I Wish to Tell You
A Collection of Timeless advice from 46 parents
Recently a doctor, aged 44 dies from Leukemia. Before she died she wanted to write letters to her 3 kids for every growing up years she'd miss.
Some of us have young kids at a much later age. We hope we live long enough to guide them through life. But in case we don't, we can leave a letter for them to read when they are of age.
There are things that I want to tell my children but they are too young to understand now. But I hope when the time is right, they will read my letters to them.
After I had read the post by Jack Sim , I was inspired to get my friends to contribute their letters. The result is a collection of timeless advice from 46 parents.
Jack Sim in his foreword said, "Each letter is lovingly written by the parents with aspirations, hope and ideals. I believe you as readers will have your own list of things to tell your children. I hope this book can encourage you to have these conversations with your child."
