My insufficiently erotic Erotic Parallel Universe Story

I wrote this when Circlet Press put out a call for submissions to their Erotic Alternate Reality anthology. They asked: If you could change one thing about the Universe to make it more erotic, what would it be?

I was driving home from the grocery store when that one thing occurred to me. Of course, when you make one small change to a Universe, it does have a ripple effect on the civilization. You might find that some of the ripples subtract from the story's appeal, but they have to be there, for proper World Building.

I gave the story to my spouse to check over before I sent it to Circlet Press. He pointed out the ripples and other interruptions that made it insufficiently erotic to be an erotic story. I replied that I could take them out, but then it wouldn't be as good a story. I sent it off, and later received a very nice rejection letter that mentioned the same points as my spouse.

A few years have gone by. I have re-read the story, and find that I now agree with them for one interruption, which I have removed. So here is the story, minus those 521 words. It is still insufficiently erotic, and perhaps a little icky and creepy, depending on your point of view. From my point of view, the purpose of a story is to be a story.
