Content Description

It’s over 30 degrees Celsius in the height of summer. Yet, this young guy has pulled a long ski sock over his cast. We can only imagine the climate inside that sock and what it means for his foot and toes. So, it doesn't necessarily have to be a bad thing... :-)

We can't see exactly what kind of cast he has on, but the sock suggests a full-leg cast (SLC) with a toe plate. It leaves a bit to the imagination.

He hobbles over to a bench on his crutches and sits down to smoke a cigarette.

A short while later, he stands up and heads toward the car with his companion. A veeeery long walk. All told, we get to watch him on crutches for about five minutes.

Anyone into casts with socks on them—and long walks on crutches—will love this sighting!
