At the completion of the program, students should be ABLE to:

5. Have a overall understanding of definition for tuina therapy, mechanism and therapeutic principle of tuina, Indication and contraindication for tuina therapy.
6. Be familiar with tuina manipulations commonly used, including their operation, essential, function, application, and attention. Commonly used manipulations contain yizhichan- thumb swing, gun-rolling, bairou-swing kneading, an-pressing, anrou-pressing kneading, dian-digital pressing, bo-fibrocrossing, na-grasping, nie-pinching, cuo-foulage, nian-finger twisting, etc.
7. Grasp method of diagnosis and manual treatment for soft tissue injury in spine, shoulder, and knee.
8. Grasp method of manual treatments for internal and gynecologic diseases.
9. Grasp commonly used specific points, manipulations and method of manual treatment for infantile diseases.
