After spending her life studying and working at a nearby hospital to avoid emotions about her father’s death, Harper-Anne is finally ready to take her head out of the books. She accepts a date from Wilfred, a co-worker, but her mother’s Alzheimer’s and lack of help from her brother keep her from going out. Harper-Anne invites him over for dinner instead, hoping Wilfred can accept her eccentric family.
