TQ30 COVID-19 Special (subscriber - free)

Most things, both tangible and impalpable have changed in a way none of us could have dreamt, nor would have even dared to dream since the weeks that have passed since TQ29. The cover of that issue (designed by Skip Doncaster) depicted a lone underground miner manipulating his synth while looking into the dank dark distance lit only by his safety helmet lamp. How prophetic as we now find ourselves hunkered down in our own pits searching for light and making our own amusement, with many no doubt retching sounds from electronic set-ups, while digging for virtual companionship and sanity.

When I put the call out for contributions to this special COVID-19 TQ30 issue, I’d no idea what the response would be, but as you have seen by scanning the Contents List, and as you work your way through the zines 44 pages, the variation, sharing, creativity, openness and at times personal nature of the content is outstanding...far beyond what I could dream was possible.

Several months ago someone referred to ‘the TQ Community’ and that made me glow with pride. This issue is evidence of that community. Thank you each and every single contributor for making this issue such a fascinating read.
