Cosy Floor Cushions (knitting pattern)

With three sizes to choose from, these cushions are great for the sofa or for lounging on the floor.

You can choose to knit in the lovely light and fluffy Rowan Kid Classic or in Rowan Pure Wool Worsted for wonderful stitch definition on the cosy cables.

YARN
Small [Medium : Large]
Rowan Pure Wool Worsted x 3 [5 : 6] 100g balls (Small shown in Gold 133, Large shown in Olive 125).
Rowan Kid Classic x 4 [6 : 8] 50g ball (Medium shown in Canard 871).

NEEDLES
1 pair 4.5mm (no 7) (US 7) needles.
Cable needle.

EXTRAS
Small cushion pad: 41 cm (16 in).
Medium cushion pad: 51 cm (20 in).
Large cushion pad: 61 cm (24 in).
Approx. 22mm buttons x 20. (5 for small cushion, 7 for medium and 8 for large).

TENSION
20 sts and 26 rows to 10 cm measured over st st using 4.5mm (US 7) needles and Pure Wool Worsted or Kid Classic.
Centre panel (56 sts) should measure 22.5 cm (9 in) when slightly stretched.

FINISHED SIZE
Small cushion measures approx. 41.5 cm (161/4 in).
Medium cushion measures approx. 51.5 cm (201/4 in).
Large cushion measures approx. 61.5 cm (241/4 in).
