APT Phlebotomy Training Program

This course is designed to provide individuals with the basic skills of Phlebotomy. This course is designed to provide non-current and current CNAs, MAs, Nurse Practitioners, and other healthcare professionals with the knowledge and skils to perform veinipunctures, and other phlebotomy/laboratory duties. In just 6 weeks, you will learn basic phlebotomy skills, introduction of medical terminology, basic vital signs and CPR training. This course is conducted in English, but can be translated to other languages as well. 

Course objectives

• 1. Acquire basic Phlebotomy and Venipuncture skills
• 2. Develop basic patient interaction and conflict prevention skills. 
• 3. Understand basic medical terminology
• 4. Learn to measure vital signs and perform basic CPR
• 5. State Testing Preparation
