Monika SLWC + SATS (Chapter 3)

Summary:

Jetzt, da Monika sich bereits an ihre beiden Gipse gewöhnt hat, nutzt sie die Gelegenheit, um einige Hausarbeiten zu erledigen. Nach einer Weile ist sie etwas müde, geht ins Schlafzimmer, nimmt das Tastentelefon, wählt die Nummer ihrer Freundin und wartet, bis sie abnimmt.

Sobald ihre Freundin abnimmt, bedankt sich Monika bei ihr für ihre Hilfe im Krankenhaus und fragt, ob sie die High Heels behalten hat, die sie an dem Fuß getragen hatte, der jetzt eingegipst ist. Ihre Freundin bestätigt, dass sie den Schuh aufgehoben hat, und sagt, dass sie Monika am nächsten Tag besuchen und ihn mitbringen wird.

Monika nutzt das Gespräch außerdem, um zu sagen, dass sie gerne ein paar Unterschriften auf ihren beiden Gipsen sammeln möchte. Mitten im Gespräch kommt ihr Essen an. Sie verabschiedet sich von ihrer Freundin, legt auf, holt das Essen an der Tür ab und setzt sich aufs Sofa, um zu essen und dabei Tom und Jerry anzusehen.

Now that Monika is already used to having both of her casts, she takes the opportunity to do some household chores. After a while, feeling a little tired, she goes to the bedroom, picks up the push-button phone, dials her friend's number, and waits for her to answer.

As soon as her friend answers, Monika thanks her for helping her at the hospital and asks if she kept the high heel she had been wearing on the foot that is now in a cast. Her friend confirms that she kept the shoe and says that she will visit Monika the next day and bring it with her.

Monika also takes the opportunity to say that she would like to get some signatures on both of her casts. In the middle of the conversation, her food arrives. She says goodbye to her friend, hangs up, gets the food from the door, and sits on the sofa to eat while watching Tom and Jerry.
