Use the worksheets included as a intro, supplement, or review to your biomes lesson. It will give have one page facts about all six biomes: the grasslands, deciduous forest, tropical rainforest, desert, taiga, and tundra. Each page will list some of the animals and plants located in each biome and what to expect from each and where to find on a map. Students will learn which biome has trees which leaves change in the fall. They will find out that rainforests have four layers and each one has a name. Get to understand what coniferous trees are and where they grow and much more!
Includes a page with 10 questions to be used as a quiz or review for when they finish their reading regarding all biomes.
The BOOM cards included are a fun way to reinforce the information learned in the worksheets. They include real pictures of plants, animals, and biomes. In the BOOM cards students will decide what animal belongs and does not belong in a biome. Look at different plants and tell whether they can thrive or not in a specific biome. Tell the climate of a biome. The questions in the BOOM cards are not the same as in the worksheets.
Students will go over the following biomes: grasslands, deciduous forests, tropical forests, desert, taiga, tundra.
