Star Steps quilt pattern

Quickly piece this bright and cheerful quilt.  The star adds a wonderful focus point to a simple quilt and is surprisingly easy to add.

Make a generously sized baby "tummy time"  or toddler quilt, or choose a completely different palette to create a throw or lap quilt for any age.

PATTERN DETAILS

This pattern includes a materials list and clear step-by-step instructions and diagrams to make a 50.5" x 64" quilt top.

Materials required to make the quilt:

• 1/4 yard total assorted purple scraps
• 1/2 yard total assorted orange scraps
• 1/2 yard total assorted blue scraps
• 5/8 yard total yellow scraps
• 3/8 yards assorted green scraps
• 1/8 yard total assorted pink scraps
• 1 yard white
• 1/4 yard fabric for inner border
• 1 1/8 yard fabric for outer border
• 1/2 yard fabric for binding
• 3 1/2 yards backing fabric
• 55" x 68" batting
