Felicitous is a triangular, asymmetrical shawl that fades gradually from one dominant color into another. It is knit on the bias and features bobbles, eyelet lace, and garter stitch stripes of varying widths.
Felicitous is inspired by elements of life — particularly the challenges, but also the joys — that are difficult to describe succinctly in words. As most knitters know well, knitting and the warmth it creates can often stand-in for or supplement language. My hope is that Felicitous brings more of the beauty and hope that knitting can offer into the world, whether it comes through the act of knitting, wearing, or gifting this scarf.
