100 Emotions & Feelings Learning Cards for Kids — Printable PDF + Conversation Guide

Explore feelings words and thoughtful conversations with 100 numbered learning cards in ten groups. These are 100 cards, not 100 different emotions: feeling words repeat in different activities. Use the cards together with an adult, welcoming a child's own words and more than one possible answer.

ONE ZIP DOWNLOAD, THREE PDFs

• US Letter card edition: 25 pages, four cards per page.

• A4 card edition: 25 pages, four cards per page.

• Six-page parent/educator guide with activity ideas, teaching notes, situation suggestions, intended face-match answers and scenario examples.

Both card editions repeat the same 100 cards; paper-size alternatives are not additional cards. No native Canva templates or editable files are included.

TEN GROUPS OF TEN CARDS

Basic Emotions; Advanced Emotions; Real-Face Expressions; Illustrated Emotions; Emotion + Situation; Feelings Vocabulary; Body Sensations; Calm-Down Choices; Facial Expression Match; Emotion Scenarios.

The Real-Face Expressions group uses AI-created portraits of fictional children depicting expressions, not photographs of real children. Other cards use simple faces, body diagrams or abstract decorative icons. Situation and scenario cards are text-led conversation prompts, not fully illustrated scenes.

READ TOGETHER

A face, body sensation or situation does not prove how someone feels. Ask the person, allow uncertainty, and welcome different answers. Face-match answers identify the intended drawings only. Calm-down ideas are optional invitations, not required responses. Start with familiar vocabulary and introduce nuanced words when the child is ready.

This is an educational conversation resource, not therapy, diagnosis, medical advice, a behavior treatment or a test of a child. No therapeutic outcomes are promised.

PRINTING

Extract the ZIP, choose the card PDF matching your paper, and print at Actual Size/100%. Cut along the card borders. An adult should handle cutting, lamination and loose pieces around younger children. Print a test sheet first; colors and margins depend on your printer. Card dimensions differ slightly between the two paper-size layouts. No physical print, cut or child-use testing has been performed.

Digital download only: no printed cards, accessories, printing or supplies are included. The original styled cover is an illustrative presentation; gallery images 2–9 show actual included PDF pages. No current Etsy download byte-for-byte comparison has been performed.
