The elongated asymmetrical triangle shape allows for effortless wearing ease and maximal wrapping pleasure. The focal point of Portia is the striking undulating cable pattern, that transitions into homey, comforting garter stitch. Portia is finished with a border that is reminiscent of strings of beads or pearls, echoing parts of the cable pattern.
Portia is knitted from tip to edge, then finished with a border that is worked perpendicular to the body of the shawl. Increases are worked on one side only to achieve an asymmetrical triangular shape.
